Well, seeing as this is my first journal entry, why not make it to help people with their mmo experiences? So, im preety much going list up all the mmos ive played, and say somthing about them. I'm not going to make a "top 10" because EVERYONE has different tastes in mmos. I'm just describing how i felt about the good mmos ive played..and if you dont know what an mmo is...well, mmo is short for MMORPG which stands for Masive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. If you dont know what that is, then just try one out XD

So...on with the reviews



Runescape


Oh yes, runescape, although its often called the worst mmo ever made, i think its alright...posibly the best starter mmo for anyone. An ok amount of quests, a (crapy) pvp system, simple graphics, browser game and free. If you have no idea about mmo's, then this is a preety good first...some seriouse negative points, or positive points are that there are no classes and the pvp system...although the pvp system is..somwhat thought out, its just..so bad XD and the fact that there are no jobs just makes it an untraditional mmo. You can do tons of stuff from mineing, to fishing, to cooking, etc. but the battle system is just so fucking bad i cant discribe it!!!..think about...rock em sock em robots or w/e theyre called, but slowed down to like...1/100s of the speed, and you have to runescape battle system..no skills...no nothing..just hitting back and forth...

Final statement: if you've never played an mmo before, this is a preety good start, if you however have some mmo experience, you will probably find this game to be boreing and pointless after a short amount of time.



Maple Story


Maple Story is definitly one of my most favorite mmos of all time. TONS and TONS of items for you to choose from. Four (or five in some countries) unique classes (Thief, Warrior, Archer, Mage, Pirate) for you to choose from, each with their own set of skills and stat builds. Four job advancements for you to level through, TONS of quests with lots of patches that come out with more quests and events like easter, halloween, christmas, etc. A great comunity (last time i checked anyway) and awesome 2D sidescrolling graphics with great controls. The ability and extent of customisation really is astounding...hundreds of clothes, hair styles, face styles, just EVERYTHING to give your avatar your own personal thouch.Really a very fun game thats free!



Cabal Online


A more "typical" and undiscovered mmo, yet very individual...the art style of the game is a very well done mix between futuristic and past style. The graphics are BEAUTIFUL especially the skills, which makes it just that more satisfying when stabing someone in the face! XD The quests are typical mmo quests, but somhow they just dont get boring (not for me anyway) and the classes are preety interesting too (Warrior, Blader, Force Blader, Force Shielder, Force Archer, Mage). What really disapoints me is the lack of avatar customisability. With a mix of just 3 hair styles, 3 face styles and some hair colors, its preety sad XD but the beautiful graphics definitly make up for it. It used to cost money, but this game is now also free!



Ragnarok online


The last mmo im reviewing, its layout is a little like cabal's, but they graphics, gameplay and preety much everything else is totally different XD. What i really like about this game is the style. Its 2d sprites, in a 3d world, a nice different little touch to the average mmos. Unlike cabal, this game alows you to customise your character more, but not nearly as much as maple story. With tons of hats and on some servers, wings, your customisability is much larger here. Lots of interesting classes, and a very large class tree, each class with their own list of skills, this game is definitly worth playing. Its currently not free, unless you play on private servers, but still fun nontheless
